Vampirella Vs. ReAnimator

This crossover sees Doctor Herbert West, the ReAnimator, bringing an ancient death goddess back to life.  Soon, however, it becomes clear that the goddess is an old enemy of Vampirella, from her homeworld of Drakulon, and only Vampirella can prevent the extinction of all life on Earth.

This is a fairly cliche affair, with no real surprises to be had.  Guy reawakens a seductive ancient evil, soon finds out that the evil is bad, hero gets beaten, hero gets a power boost and returns for Round 2.  It's predictable and doesn't really do anything of great interest with either of the title characters.

What I really did like, however, was Blacky Shepherd's artwork, which cleverly uses a black-and-white style with occasional colour highlights to great effect, particularly when blood is one of the few elements which always appears in colour.
